Visitor Feedback

We regularly welcome visitors into Parkfields for a wide variety of different reasons. We always ask them for feedback on how their visit was so that we can see how we can develop further as well as feed back to the children or staff involved with receiving the visitor.

Below are a selection of comments taken from emails or conversations with the consent of the visitor.

Jatinder Chandi, Senior Education Officer

It was an absolute pleasure to deliver an Agents for Change event with your students.

My colleague and I were incredibly impressed by the knowledge and compassion of your students, which also reflects the amazing efforts of your staff team.

They were a wonderful group, and we’d love to see them again at some point in the future!

Festus Akinbusoye, Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner

A truly inspiring school in Toddington with a brilliant teaching staff. The pupils I met today were simply exemplary. Their teachers and families should rightly be proud of them all.

Marcus Merriman, Learning Officer Whipsnade Zoo

It was my pleasure visiting you. Your students were an absolute delight and I loved their energy and questions.

Thank you for being nice to my son and supporting us in the way you could. It was an honour and pleasure to be a part of Parkfields School Family.

Jordan Aikman, Sports' Clothing and Merchandise: Donkey Sports Merch

It was a pleasure to be invited and I really enjoyed the day! I’m glad the kids enjoyed the session and took something out of the day.
The kids were great and a credit to the school!

Rev. Linda Washington

We always value our visits to the school. The youngsters and the staff have always been so welcoming.

Claire Kingham CBC Road Safety Officer

Thank you for having me in last week.

I must say, the behaviour of the pupils was a credit to you.  They all listened well, sat well and appeared to take an interest is what I
was saying.  I know it isn’t always easy as it was a long presentation and a quick fire of topics to get through.

I was very impressed with some of the questions that were being asked and it was unfortunate that I couldn’t get through them all.
As we discussed, I am more than happy for you to give me a list of questions and I will answer them.

Let me know when you would like us to come back and we look forward to see you soon.

The main thing I took away from the presentation and chat afterwards was a great relief to me - that primarily what we want to
achieve is that our children are able to accept each other whilst holding completely opposing views and faiths. We need to say to
our children that even if they think someone else's view of things is wrong, they should never-the-less accept that person and not treat
them negatively in any way.

Elaine Wickson, Author Super Stan

I really enjoyed my time at Parkfields, you were all so welcoming, both to me and Paul, and I loved meeting the children. It’s obvious
you and your staff have created a happy, inclusive environment for the children to thrive in. As I said on Tuesday, I was so impressed
with the writing in Year 5. Just in that short time I was with them, they came up with some incredibly imaginative ideas.
I will definitely keep you in mind for any future school visits – especially as you’re not far away!
Enjoy the summer too, and good luck with the Arts Festival.

Outspoken! Cycle Training

Fran and Adrian delivered the bikeability training to children in Year 5 & 6 and were very complimentary about the pupils attitude to road safety. They also passed on the comments from various community members who had remarked on how well the various groups had done across the week and how courteous and considerate they had been of pedestrians.
