June 2026 - PTA in the Community at OUR village fete.

Community spirit at its finest!

The PTA had an amazing time at the Toddington Village Fete! As one of the absolute highlights of the year, it was incredible to see everyone come together to enjoy the stalls, dancing, live music from the Town Band, delicious food, and endless fun.

Being part of these community events is what we love most, and as a fantastic bonus, we managed to raise some much-needed funds for Parkfields!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and made the day so special. We love our village!

May 2026 - Willow in the Community Once Again!

Our fantastic Willow group was out in the village, continuing their brilliant work looking after our local environment!

Armed with a few big bottles of water, the children did a wonderful job giving both of our village planters a thorough watering. They also noticed the primulas needed some care, so they got stuck right in with some "deadheading" to keep them looking fresh and healthy. The good news? No weeds to pull out this time! We already have our eyes on next week to head back out and do some more clearing.

It wasn't all hard work, though—nature treated us to some lovely surprises along the way! We took a little detour to stop by the pond and check on the ducklings (aren't they just cute?!), and while walking between the planters, we even spotted a friendly Mr. Robin.

The children were absolutely great ambassadors for the school as always.

April - Toddington’s Pride: A Well-Deserved Win for Kaiden!

huge congratulations to Kaiden for receiving a Toddington Parish Council Recognition Award!

Kaiden is the definition of a model citizen. Whether it’s getting stuck into pond clearing, keeping our streets clean with litter picking, or simply stepping up whenever the town or school needs a hand, his dedication is unmatched.

You make us proud, Kaiden! Thanks for being the kind of person who inspires us all to do a little more for our community.

March - Daffodil Delight

Brightening Days in Toddington!

Our School Council, Willow class and ambassadors had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Friday Luncheon Club today. This local treasure has been bringing people together every Friday for an incredible 32 years!

We dropped off fresh daffodils and plenty of smiles to wish these wonderful residents a very Happy Easter. Connecting with the wisdom and warmth of our community was a beautiful reminder of what the holiday spirit is truly about. We left feeling just as inspired as they were!

March 2026 - Willow goes Green

Willow Class spent a rathy breezy Tuesday morning learning all about keeping Toddington beautiful from our local gardening legend, Dean!

Dean shared how Parkfields can get involved in looking after our town, and Willow Class jumped straight in. They planted the gorgeous new flowers and plants on Toddington Green and—best of all—they are now officially in charge of taking care of them!

We can't wait to watch their hard work bloom.

January 2026 - Our students had a seat at the table!

Noah, Rosie, and Isla took the lead at the Toddington Parish Council meeting on Tuesday, presenting survey data from St. George’s, Parkfields, and Harlington Upper students.

From town planning to future-proofing our community, these students made sure the voices of local children were heard loud and clear.

The Singing Cafe - Toddington

Some of our choir went along and had the most amazing time!

What is the Singing Cafe...

"Toddington Singing Café is a community group run solely by volunteers.

We aim to provide singing activities for people with dementia and their carers in a caring, supportive and sociable way.

We are here to unlock memories through music whilst having fun and bringing a little light relief to lives that can be difficult and challenging.

This is all done with a smile and plenty of tea, coffee, cake and biscuits!2

Christmas 2025 - The Fayre, The Lights, The Music and Santa

What a fantastic time we had celebrating Christmas in our amazing town. We are so lucky to have such a close-knit community, with Parkfields sitting right at the heart of it all. A huge thank you to everyone who makes this village sparkle—it’s a privilege to be part of the magic

Remembrance Day - Nov 2025

At Parkfields, we believe that education happens both inside and outside the classroom. Every year, our students join the Remembrance Day parade, and here is why:

  • Honouring Local Heroes: We walk to remember the names on our local memorial—real people from our community who served.

  • Living History: It’s one thing to read about history; it’s another to stand in silence alongside veterans and feel the weight of their stories.

  • Building Character: Seeing our students represent the school with such dignity and respect makes us incredibly proud. It teaches them the true meaning of service and empathy.

We aren't just looking back at the past; we are teaching our students how to build a more peaceful future.
