The Local Offer
If your child is struggling with their emotional and/or mental health, there are a number of local and national services offering information, advice and support for children and young people aged 0-25 years.
SORTED Counselling
Sorted Counselling Services is a small local charity that is based in Dunstable, who work with children and young people from the local community to support them through life’s challenges, aged 10-25.

CHUMS
CHUMS is a service supporting young people with thier Mental Helath and Emotional Wellbeing. Here is a link to some downloadable guides to help support your children in certains areas, such as Bereavment, Bullying, Diet and Excercise, Low Mood and Feeling Sad, Mindfulness, Self Harm, Managing Self Harm, Sleep, Tics and Tourettes, What is anxiety? Lumi Nova
Lumi Nova is an app created to support young people aged 7-12 with thier emotional wellbeing. They will learn to self manage, reduce symptons of anxiety and build resilence and thrive. A fun way for children to tackle thier fears and worries head on.
CAMHS
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) delivered by East London NHS Foundation Trust is part of a wider network of services that offer help and support to children and young people who have mental health difficulties and their families/carers.
You are able to self refer into this service, if you have concerns regarding your child's emotional wellbeing and mental health.
Anxiety and Panic Attacks

Children's Mental Health Week
We partake in Children's Mental Health Week each year.
This year the focus is 'My Voice Matters'.

Reflect
Reflect is a free, confidential and 24/7 text support service for anyone in the UK who needs advice or help. It is delivered by trained volunteers and clinicians who are available around the clock to listen and support anyone who is feeling anxious, lonely, overwhelmed or not quite themselves. It is part of the wider network of Shout services across the UK.
Chat Health
ChatHealth - a text service for 11-19 year olds in Bedfordshire
You can now text our school nurses on 07507 331450 to ask any health related questions you might have including mental health, drugs, relationships, healthy eating and much more.
ChatHealth is an easy, confidential and anonymous way to ask questions about your health. Our team will be there to answer your text from 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).
