Circumstances where it might not be possible for pupils to receive in person education come into two broad categories:

1. School closures or restrictions on attendance, where school access for pupils is restricted:                  Pupils will have access to remote education as soon as is reasonably practicable and in proportion to the length of absence and possible disruption to the learning. The first couple of days of absence may look different to more extended periods. 
2. Individual cases where a pupil is unable to attend school, but is able to engage with learning:          Individual pupil needs will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Normally, this will be via resources and activities on Google Classroom or Oak National Academy: Oak National Academy Online Classroom 

 

Our prime vehicle for delivering remote education will be through your child’s school Google account. This will give them access to their emails, Google Classroom and other applications. Google Classroom will be where the ‘meet’ link for live lessons and other resources are shared.
