Enrichments at Parkfields

Enrichments are designed to support your child’s learning across all curriculum areas. It is directly linked to our taught curriculum, as well as enabling pupils to develop important skills including: time management, research, creativity and cultural awareness. The expectation would be to spend 30 minutes a week over the half term that is set - 3 hours on average.

Enrichment tasks are accessible to everyone. The enrichment tasks have various criteria of engagement which are clearly communicated.

Time and support is available at school for those who might find it hard to do their enrichment. It is also important that it is the child who completes the enrichment, so we know what they are capable of. It is great when families are able to support their children with their enrichment but it is not necessary. Children have the whole of the half term to complete these tasks and we encourage them to do a little at a time.
