Imagine building an air powered rocket, creating ice-cream using dry ice or designing your own electromagnet! That's exactly what happened on Tuesday, March 11th, during our incredible British Science Week cross-curricular day!

We transformed our school into a hub of scientific exploration, where Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students worked together in exciting mixed-age teams. Because we believe that learning is a journey best shared! Our older students had the chance to mentor and inspire younger learners, while our younger students brought fresh perspectives and boundless enthusiasm. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to develop their communication, teamwork, and leadership skills – all while diving deep into the fascinating world of science.

Forget traditional classrooms – this was a day of hands-on learning, collaborative problem-solving, and sparking curiosity!

We were incredibly fortunate to welcome a team of amazing visitors to our school. These science enthusiasts, experts in their fields, led engaging and informative workshops that brought real-world science to life. What did our students learn?
