Mexico Cross-Curricular Day - October 2022

Our first cross curricular day of this academic year - Mexico day.

The staff and children participated in mixed house and mixed age group activities. 

The learning was full and varied and included; comparing lifestyle and culture, mindfulness Mayan chanting, learning and practising Spanish conversations, creating tourist brochures and adverts using tech equipment, pinata craft, learning and practising a traditional Mexican song, creating Gods Eyes and Mayan worry dolls, history of ancient Maya postcard and letter writing, Aztec Gods/Architecture and beyond, Aztecs escape room and creating biodiversity- leaflets.
