Our theme for the last Cross-Curricular day of this academic year is the upcoming Olympic games.

With our Year 8 pupils embarking on their residential trip to Paris next week, and only 52 days until the event, we felt this was the perfect opportunity to explore the Olympic games, France and beyond.

The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad and also known as Paris 2024, is an international multi-sport event that is scheduled to take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024 with Paris as its main host city.

Pupils worked in mixed age classes to explore themes related to the Olympics and the competing countries. Pupils shared their learning with children in their house- Ash, Beech, Cedar and Oak.

As part of the day, pupils staff and volunteers were invited to dress according to the theme.
